This painting is a bit older, I think it was done in 2002. A conceptual approach to a mythological subject. There are some things I would do differently now, but it's time to move on to other things. This is an oil painting on wood panel 13x13.
Oh, this is delightful! I've never seen such an interesting, original take on this tale (and being Greek, I thought I'd seen them all) this makes the viewer think about the story instead of telling them all about it. The concept is there, but presented in such an original way that I just sat and pondered it for quite some time; I like when a painting makes me do that. Well done.
